I'm Your Getaway... Ch.4 [Alex Johnson]

We made it back to the venue, a little tense but still intact and somewhat happy. We went backstage and came back just in time for the last song from The Friday Night Boys. They weren't bad at all. Maybe I should broaden my musical preferences to more than just Bach and Chopin. As the music continued, I caught Johnson's eyes turn into slits. I followed his gaze across the stage to see him looking out at the crowd, licking his lips as he glared out eyeing certain girls in the back. That's when Johnson turned to me.

"Do you mind standing here for a second? I need to ask Marshall about our set," Johnson smiled at me.

"Sure," I smile back.

I saw his smile disappear the moment he turned around to walk behind the set. I turned my attention back to the stage to see Marshall staring me down with a malicious smirk on his face. This guy is pure evil.  Remembering those three words brought shocks up my spine and almost into attack mode again. That's when I saw Johnson appear behind him and shove Marshall to the side. I wasn't the greatest lip reader but I did make out some words from that distance.

"What the fuck... what the hell was that at...? I swear if..." Johnson said, probably even yelling.

"What? She is... she looks very... She is... can't help myself... fair game Johnson," Marshall said back.

Then I saw Johnson say two words that made my heart skip a beat, and swallow hard.

"She's mine."

Marshall and Johnson sized up to each other, staring each other down. Besides the fact that I don't consider myself a piece of property, I was quite electrified by Johnson's defensive stance. I knew he was talking about me and defending me. He wanted me. Never had a guy defend me in such a way, so it was kind of overwhelming. Singer appeared between the two of them and pushed them both back, pointing at me in the process. Of course, all three looked at me. I quickly looked away to see Ari in the pit gawk at me in rage. I smirked and waved. I know I'm going to hear it tonight. I couldn't help but think what they were arguing about and why it involved me. Maybe Marshall is jealous that Johnson got to me first and he never had the chance to flirt with me. There was still something else about Marshall that kept itching at the back of my mind but I just couldn't get to it. I felt a warm hand on my arm. I already knew who it was.

"I'm back," Johnson said.

"I can see that," I said back smirking. "Is everything okay? I saw you getting quite heated up with Marshall."

"Just a misunderstanding. He wanted to change one of the songs to another. Nothing serious," Johnson just shrugged it off.

"Oh okay," I replied, obviously not convinced.

Something is up, and I'm going to find out. I started to crave another cigarette and reached into my purse to only remember I had a deal with Johnson about no smoking. I groaned and pouted.

"And what is wrong with you?" Johnson asked.

"I'm craving," I pouted. "I can't even have one?"

"Nope," Johnson replied chuckling. "We're in this together."

I pouted some more, attempting at the puppy dog eyes. You know, just moist enough around the lashes but not crying. Johnson rolled his eyes and laughed.

"The puppy eyes don't work on me. But I can make better puppy eyes."

"Let's see them then," I say as I cross my arms. "I doubt you could do it."

He did them alright. I wanted to die. His eyes became angelic and full of pure love and innocence. I wanted to hold him like there was no tomorrow. Just touch his warm skin, cuddle endlessly in his arms, whatever I had to do just to comfort him.

"You are good," I whisper.

"I know."

I shove Johnson jokingly just in time for the Friday Night Boys to finish their song and strip their set. Eye Alaska was up next and I got to meet their lead singer Brandon. He introduced himself quite amicably. One arm curled around my neck while the other gripped Johnson's neck. I smelled apple.

"Where's the party at people?" Brandon asked smiling.

"The party starts when I get on the drums," Johnson says as he rubs Brandon's head. "Siobahn this is Brandon Wronski, the singer to Eye Alaska. Brandon, this is Siobahn. We recently became very close friends."

"Dude. I have noticed the interaction," Brandon says. "You lucky guy you! And just so you know Siobahn, the party starts when the ladies hear my voice."

I watched Eye Alaska kill it on stage. They were amazing and full of energy. I knew right away Brandon was a caring guy with a bit of a jokester side to him. Their set finished and The Cab were next. I watched Johnson set up his drum kit while the guys tuned their guitars off stage. I watched from the sidelines as girls were pushing each other just to get closer to the stage, mainly pushing towards the direction where Marshall's keyboard resided. Ugh. Ari shoved for the front and center spot where Singer would sing down to the masses of blondes, brunettes, redheads, and multicolored hair dyed females. It was like survival of the fittest. It was a terrifying scene. It got worse and severely hot once the guys got on. Those guys had some major energy coming from somewhere and it grabbed me in its tendrils. I actually started bobbing my head to the music, more to Johnson though. His drumming has got to be one of the best things I have ever witnessed in my life. He made silly drumming faces that made me keep laughing their whole entire set. One thing I did notice was whenever Marshall flipped his hair, a surge of screams crescendo off the walls of the venue. The girls closest to him even swayed with the flip. It was really creepy yet fascinating. Almost like a cult of followers...

OH MY GOD. MARSHALL'S CULT OF HAIR-FLIP FOLLOWERS. I LOVE IT. :D:D:D I love it almost as much as I dislike fan girls that are only there for the guys' hair!
Ohhhh, Johnson's getting possessive :D HE'S TOTALLY A WERE-PUPPY. I lovelovelove this. Like, I heart this SO HARD. I love it when people actually give Johnson a personality, instead of him just being all, "RAWR.", you know?
Apologize if this doesn't make much sense. I'm like...so hyped up right now.

PS. You should throw some more FNB in there. Or at least Andrew. He's kind of my lover/fiance. Just a thought :D
