September 30, 2009I'm Your Getaway... Ch.6 [Alex Johnson]"Why hello up there!" Marshall shouts. "Mind if I join you with a couple of my friends?" "Yes I do," I mutter under my breath. I looked at Johnson's face and I knew something wasn't right. His face was serious, eyes darting left to right as his nostrils flared. "How many friends did you bring with you Marshall?" Johnson barely whispered. "Just enough," Marshall says. "I want them to meet Siobahn." "Siobahn, we need to get down from this tree now." "Okay," I say as I start to get up but he stops me with the most genuine concerned look on his face. "There are some things I haven't told you yet about me that I was planning on telling you soon in the future. I just want you to know that I would never let anybody hurt you. If I tell you to run, then run as fast as you can. Promise me that." "Why would I run?" I ask him. "What's going on?" "My friends really want to meet you Siobahn," Marshall says. "But they're kind of impatient." "I don't make promises Johnson. But I will promise you that I will run when the time is needed." "You're going to be difficult," Johnson mumbles as he drops easily to the ground. I follow more slowly and Johnson grabs me before placing me behind him. What is going on? I look around Marshall but all I see are trees and bushes. The silence in the park was deadly though. "Well I don't see your friends Marshall," I say quietly. "Where are they?" "They are around here. They think you're real pretty Siobahn," Marshall says. "I don't think you understand when I said to stay away from Siobahn," Johnson sneered. "You know I couldn't resist, Johnson. Why can't you share?" Marshall pouts. "She smells divine." "You really were in the restroom at the pizza place," I say. "First off, have you no manners? And secondly, how did you get out of there so fast?" "I have manners but I was built for speed. You know, speaking of speed has made me quite... hungry. Wanna go grab a bite?" "Don't you dare- "Johnson starts. Silently, the trees moved just a little and then dark shadows appeared on the ground. As they moved closer, I started to see band shirts and converse sneakers. No effing way. "You're friends are the... fans?" I ask him quizzically. "Okay, I was expecting bulky guys with chains and daggers flashing everywhere. I was not expecting little girls." "Siobahn they are more dangerous than you think," Johnson whispers. "They are under hypnosis." "No one can be placed under hypnosis. It's not possible. I took general psychology and I know it's not achievable." "Well it can be achievable if you're a vampire," Johnson mumbles. "Oh... wait what? Alex Marshall is a vampire? That explains why he was so cold..." "Okay usually when I tell girls that he's a vampire, they first become skeptics then when they see his fangs they freak out. Why aren't you freaking out?" Johnson half turns to me with a quizzical brow. "Like I said, it explains everything. His dark eyes, his speed, his hunger... I am in a bit of a shock. But I can take news like that just fine." "Siobahn knows what I am. That makes everything so much easier on me," Marshall sighs and smiles, two pearly whites enlarging out of his mouth. "I'd like for you to meet my right hand. She helps me out with everything. Oh Jen..." The crowd of fans split to show a girl with golden curly brown hair and a fangtastic smile on her rosy cheeks. I remembered seeing her being the closest to Marshall at the barrier during the show. I should have known she would be a vampire. She was very pretty indeed. "So I was right after all," Jen sighs as she stops beside Marshall, staring me down. "She has got to be the sweetest smelling human I've ever sensed since I've been changed. That's a compliment Siobahn." "I changed Jen awhile back... okay maybe a couple of weeks ago. She has a natural born gift of sniffing out the sweetest of the bunch. You are going to be the sweetest I have ever tasted in a decade!" "You're not getting anything from her," Johnson growled as he got into a crouch position. "She is mine." "A little possessive don't you think Johnson? Doesn't matter, I didn't say I was going to grab her." Marshall says as he flips his hair. Every girl crouched in reply, snarling. "I'm mad his hair controls girls. Are they vampires too?" I whisper. "Not unless Marshall deems them fit," Johnson whispers back. "I can't hit them though. I could flick them in the head and crack their skulls." "What are you-extra strong? Well you're the vampire hunter here!" I loudly whisper. "I'll take care of them. You go after Marshall." "Thanks, but I haven't been completely honest with you. Siobahn... I'm a-" "ATTACK!" Marshall shouts. The girls screamed as they charged toward Johnson and me. I jump forward and started swinging left and right. These girls were stronger than I expected. Their neon colored nails scratched at my skin in fury as I knocked down each one in defense. I caught snippets of Johnson and Marshall slowly circling each other, snarling or growling at each other. I got thrown down to the ground by two girls, and looked up to see Jen glaring down at me smiling. I also noticed the full moon in the night sky. Weird moon since it was hiding behind the clouds. "It's better if you just stay down. I hate chasing and damaging Marshall's food for him," Jen says. "Try me then!" I say as I jump up and kick the girls in the face, then throw a punch at Jen. "You shouldn't have done that." Jen grabbed me by my shirt and threw me into a tree. The pain was excruciating on my back and I felt a small trickle of blood coming from my head but I did not let that stop me. I got back up stumbling and frantically looking around for her. All I saw were the large group of girls getting up slowly, looking confused at how they got out of the park. They all walked away except for one: Jen. She had the look of thirst in her eyes as my blood dripped on the ground. She charged for me but then she disappeared from her spot to land face first into an oak tree. I looked back where she was just running for me to see something I would never expected to see. It stood on its hind legs, grayish black fur shining and panting wildly. It made the highest piercing howl I ever heard in my life. And then it looked at me with such beautiful eyes. A werewolf. I felt a cold hand that gently wiped some of the blood from my head, and I watched Marshall as he brought it to his mouth and licked his fingers clean of my blood. His eyes closed to savor the flavor, and he opened them to blood shot eyes. "Delicious." A whoosh of wind passed by me as the werewolf head-butted Marshall in the stomach, throwing him into a small creek. The werewolf passed out beside me. I immediately noticed the werewolf's right leg, seeing some blood oozing out of a crescent shaped mark. A bite mark. Marshall got up and looked at himself drenched in water. "You will pay for that good friend!" Marshall growled. I looked down at the werewolf in pity, and then became angry. Why would Marshall hurt this wild creature? Why would it protect me from Jen and Marshall? Where was Johnson? And then it all clicked. Johnson. Werewolf. What. The. Fuck. Johnson, my now new boyfriend, is a werewolf. A pretty colored werewolf. A werewolf that is hurt quite badly. "Johnson?" I whisper quietly. The werewolf looks at me with such a sad face. I knew it was him. Those eyes, so soft and precious. I slowly approached him and knelt down to touch his fur, when his eyes sparked in rage and swiped towards me. I ducked as his huge paw and claws slapped at Jen, who was lunging for me at the same moment. But he couldn't stop his claws from ripping out some of my back. I screamed in pain as his claws ripped my clothes and some of the skin on my back. I fell limp to the ground, shaking from the severe throbbing from my back. I started to go into shock and I heard voices surround me, realizing it was some of the guys of the bands. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU MARSHALL?" Singer screamed. "LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!" "You guys she's bleeding pretty badly," Cash said to me closest. "This is not good." "Has Johnson calmed down yet?" Bryan asked. "We need him ASAP!" "I did nothing but simply hunt for my meal. She was in the way," Marshall calmly said. "Dude, we all know you've wanted her the whole night!" Singer shouts. "And now she's hurt severely." "It's worse than that," I heard Johnson's shaking voice say. "I scratched her. I hate myself." "Johnson, you are not to blame for this. You were protecting her," Cash said. "Marshall and Jen is the true blame. I want Jen off this tour this instant!" "Not happening!" Marshall sneered. "Siobahn shouldn't have been so appealing." "I will deal with you later!" Johnson shouted. "You are the reason why Siobahn will be doomed forever!" "Calm down man," Singer said quietly. "You don't want to change now. Why would she be doomed?" "It doesn't matter. One bite, one horrifying scratch... it doesn't matter. I had to go through it and now she does too." "What are you talking about?" Bryan asked. "Siobahn... she's doomed to be like me. She's doomed to be a werewolf."

September 2, 2009I'm Your Getaway... Ch.5 [Alex Johnson]They finally came down to their final song called "Can You Keep A Secret?" and the vibe just changed drastically. As the song got to the bridge, the beat became hypnotic. Every girl and guy in the jam-packed venue danced like there was no tomorrow. Johnson's thumping was quite addictive as I watched him play. He glanced over at me and winked, making me feel hotter than the whole room of fan girls. They finished performing and got the loudest response I've ever heard. Johnson got off stage and gave me the sweatiest bear hug ever. "You just had to hug me?" I squirmed in his grasp. "Of course! It makes me happy," Johnson laughs as he goes back and dismantles his drum kit. "You do make him happy," Singer appears from behind me. "I never have seen him this happy in a long time since..." "Since his girlfriend's death," I finished quietly. "What was her name?" "Jillian. She was okay. She wasn't as cool as you," Singer smirks a bit before frowning. "She demanded a lot of Johnson's attention and he usually gave it to her. She got him pretty angry sometimes-" "What are you saying about me?" Johnson says as he comes from behind and wraps his arms around my waist. Are we unofficially dating or what? "Just talking about bunnies," I smile at Singer. "Bunnies? I'll walk away now," Johnson puts his arms in the air and laughs. "Hey guys," Bryan approaches. "Let's go outside. It's stifling in here and everyone is talking about Johnson's new girl. It's seriously hilarious." "Why is it hilarious?" I ask curiously. "Because Marshall is pissed off," Bryan says as we all started walking. "He's mad Johnson snagged you before he did." "It wouldn't matter anyways. Marshall is not my type. He creeps me out," I say. "WHOA! WHOA!" Singer shouts and stops. "STOP THE PRESSES! ALEX MARSHALL CREEPS OUT SIOBAHN! CELEBS REACT TO THE SHOCKING NEWS! ANDREW ANDREW!" I see a guy with black and ash grey hair coming towards us with a bottle of water and a broad smile on his face. "Have you heard the news? Siobahn thinks Marshall is creepy! Reaction!" Singer shouts as he shoves his imaginary microphone into Andrew's face. "Not the word creepy!" Andrew gasps. "Oh my! Is that word even allowed to be in the same sentence as Marshall's name?" Johnson shakes his head and smiles at me as he intertwines his warm fingers with mine. I could faint right now, but I don't faint. Plus if I did, he'd grab me perfectly like one of those romantic movie scenes. Don't need to feel anymore mushier or I'll feel like jelly. Or in Brandon's terms, apple jelly. We all make it outside and Marshall stood on the side talking on his cell phone, glancing at me every now and then. Johnson kept occupying my thoughts and my hands as he hugged me or just held me at random times. I haven't felt so close to a guy in so long. It just felt so right. We were meant for each other. The guys from all the bands started joking around but somehow Johnson and I walked away from their silly ruckus to a very secluded area on the outskirts of a small forest park. We walked in silence for a couple of minutes in the dark, my thoughts jumbling up into little wads. Then we stopped in front of a large tree. "You know how to climb?" Johnson asks. "Yeah. Good thing I wore pants," I smirk to myself as I start to climb, huffing and puffing along the way. I found a nice large branch that had grooves from previous climbers and lovers, so I relaxed as Johnson effortlessly climbed the tree without a sweat. He got himself comfortable and we just sat there in silence with his arm around me. "Are you cold or anything?" Johnson asked. "No, you're more than warm enough." "That's good." We sat there in silence. I listened to his even breathing pattern and put my hands in my lap. Never felt so nervous... "I like you Siobahn," Johnson suddenly says. "A lot. I don't remember the last time I felt for someone like you. I was just minding my own business today, thinking about stuff and just smoking it all away when I saw you standing across the street from me. It was like everything became dull and lifeless around you. You're like the apple of my eye. You just stood there smoking your cigarette and my mind was just set on you. Your eyes, your smile... it's just so captivating and inviting. No one is perfect, but I know without a doubt, you're perfect for me. I hope you don't mind but I think I might be sticking around you for awhile. Not like a psycho! I don't roll like that, but maybe just a very close companion." "Or maybe as my boyfriend," I answer back quietly as I look up at him. "I think I can say that what you're feeling for me is exactly what I'm feeling in return. Why even fight it and wait? Why not now? I usually never rush into relationships but you are my only exception. You're different." "I am very different," Johnson says as he holds my hands close to him. "I'm more different than you'll ever know." "Everyone is different in some way. You are different. You are perfect." Johnson did the look. Not the puppy dog look, but the look before the perfect kiss. I was completely nervous. Were my lips ready? Should I just go all in or just slow it up? He started to lean in slowly, biting his lower lip nervously in such a cute manner. I quickly rubbed my lips together and leaned in just as steadily. When our lips touched, I wasn't sure if it was real. I wasn't sure anything that happened until this very moment was real. But it was happening. Our lips touched so perfectly, his lips soft and incredibly warm and inviting. He intensified the kiss beyond anything I could imagine and I just held on to him for dear life, wanting more and more and more... The perfect kiss. Then he pulled back, stopped and cocked his head to the side then looked down to the ground. "He just had to ruin our moment," Johnson whispered. "Only him." "Who?" I said trying to recollect the moment; subsequently I looked down and grimaced. MARSHALL.

August 29, 2009I'm Your Getaway... Ch.4 [Alex Johnson]We made it back to the venue, a little tense but still intact and somewhat happy. We went backstage and came back just in time for the last song from The Friday Night Boys. They weren't bad at all. Maybe I should broaden my musical preferences to more than just Bach and Chopin. As the music continued, I caught Johnson's eyes turn into slits. I followed his gaze across the stage to see him looking out at the crowd, licking his lips as he glared out eyeing certain girls in the back. That's when Johnson turned to me. "Do you mind standing here for a second? I need to ask Marshall about our set," Johnson smiled at me. "Sure," I smile back. I saw his smile disappear the moment he turned around to walk behind the set. I turned my attention back to the stage to see Marshall staring me down with a malicious smirk on his face. This guy is pure evil. Remembering those three words brought shocks up my spine and almost into attack mode again. That's when I saw Johnson appear behind him and shove Marshall to the side. I wasn't the greatest lip reader but I did make out some words from that distance. "What the fuck... what the hell was that at...? I swear if..." Johnson said, probably even yelling. "What? She is... she looks very... She is... can't help myself... fair game Johnson," Marshall said back. Then I saw Johnson say two words that made my heart skip a beat, and swallow hard. "She's mine." Marshall and Johnson sized up to each other, staring each other down. Besides the fact that I don't consider myself a piece of property, I was quite electrified by Johnson's defensive stance. I knew he was talking about me and defending me. He wanted me. Never had a guy defend me in such a way, so it was kind of overwhelming. Singer appeared between the two of them and pushed them both back, pointing at me in the process. Of course, all three looked at me. I quickly looked away to see Ari in the pit gawk at me in rage. I smirked and waved. I know I'm going to hear it tonight. I couldn't help but think what they were arguing about and why it involved me. Maybe Marshall is jealous that Johnson got to me first and he never had the chance to flirt with me. There was still something else about Marshall that kept itching at the back of my mind but I just couldn't get to it. I felt a warm hand on my arm. I already knew who it was. "I'm back," Johnson said. "I can see that," I said back smirking. "Is everything okay? I saw you getting quite heated up with Marshall." "Just a misunderstanding. He wanted to change one of the songs to another. Nothing serious," Johnson just shrugged it off. "Oh okay," I replied, obviously not convinced. Something is up, and I'm going to find out. I started to crave another cigarette and reached into my purse to only remember I had a deal with Johnson about no smoking. I groaned and pouted. "And what is wrong with you?" Johnson asked. "I'm craving," I pouted. "I can't even have one?" "Nope," Johnson replied chuckling. "We're in this together." I pouted some more, attempting at the puppy dog eyes. You know, just moist enough around the lashes but not crying. Johnson rolled his eyes and laughed. "The puppy eyes don't work on me. But I can make better puppy eyes." "Let's see them then," I say as I cross my arms. "I doubt you could do it." He did them alright. I wanted to die. His eyes became angelic and full of pure love and innocence. I wanted to hold him like there was no tomorrow. Just touch his warm skin, cuddle endlessly in his arms, whatever I had to do just to comfort him. "You are good," I whisper. "I know." I shove Johnson jokingly just in time for the Friday Night Boys to finish their song and strip their set. Eye Alaska was up next and I got to meet their lead singer Brandon. He introduced himself quite amicably. One arm curled around my neck while the other gripped Johnson's neck. I smelled apple. "Where's the party at people?" Brandon asked smiling. "The party starts when I get on the drums," Johnson says as he rubs Brandon's head. "Siobahn this is Brandon Wronski, the singer to Eye Alaska. Brandon, this is Siobahn. We recently became very close friends." "Dude. I have noticed the interaction," Brandon says. "You lucky guy you! And just so you know Siobahn, the party starts when the ladies hear my voice." I watched Eye Alaska kill it on stage. They were amazing and full of energy. I knew right away Brandon was a caring guy with a bit of a jokester side to him. Their set finished and The Cab were next. I watched Johnson set up his drum kit while the guys tuned their guitars off stage. I watched from the sidelines as girls were pushing each other just to get closer to the stage, mainly pushing towards the direction where Marshall's keyboard resided. Ugh. Ari shoved for the front and center spot where Singer would sing down to the masses of blondes, brunettes, redheads, and multicolored hair dyed females. It was like survival of the fittest. It was a terrifying scene. It got worse and severely hot once the guys got on. Those guys had some major energy coming from somewhere and it grabbed me in its tendrils. I actually started bobbing my head to the music, more to Johnson though. His drumming has got to be one of the best things I have ever witnessed in my life. He made silly drumming faces that made me keep laughing their whole entire set. One thing I did notice was whenever Marshall flipped his hair, a surge of screams crescendo off the walls of the venue. The girls closest to him even swayed with the flip. It was really creepy yet fascinating. Almost like a cult of followers...

August 25, 2009I'm Your Getaway... Ch.3 [Alex Johnson]
(So who wants to make me a sexy ass banner of Johnson?) So Siobahn," Marshall starts to ask. "Are you single?" Johnson looks up at Marshall and sneers. He almost maybe even growled. "Yes I am," I mumble as I begin to work my magic. "That's surprising. A very beautiful girl like yourself is usually taken up pretty quickly." "Well, I am plain hard to get. Plus I don't take bullshit from anyone. I'm a rough chick." "Have any potential lovers on your list? Maybe some guys here at the show?" "My list was blank at first but it has the number one spot currently occupied." "Oh? And who might that be?" "You know him, but that's the only details you'll get." At those words, I glance up at Johnson and smile goofily. Of course Singer catches the eye exchange and starts making kissy noises. Cue to two other males standing up and acting out what is supposed to be Johnson and me. "Oh Johnson!" Cash flutters his eyes. "You make me so happy with your long hair and pretty eyes. I- I think I love you!" "My beautiful Siobahn!" Bryan boasts loudly. "How I love you so! Come to me and let us look into the sunset!" "OH!" Cash runs to Bryan and holds him. "Oh Alexander!" They let go of each other and laugh. Johnson rolls his eyes and starts to twirl his drumsticks as he blushed and whispered in Singer's ear. I noted Singer's shocked facial expression before he turned to me and smiled nervously. Something is up. Marshall stiffened under me so I hopped off and sat by Johnson. "Wanna feel me up again to get warm?" Johnson jokingly says but shoots death glares at Marshall. "Ha-ha no. But I might go for another smoke outside." "I'll come with you. Even though I'm trying to quit. Bad habit I need to break." "If you quit, then I'll quit." "Deal! We start now. Give me your cigarettes." I pouted as I handed him my hard pack and watch as he tosses them with his pack into the garbage can. "Want to go for a walk? Maybe find something to eat around here?" He asks casually. "Are you asking me out on a date?" I pretend to look at him seriously. "Yes I am. And I think a majority of the guys would agree with me if you said yes, right?" "Aye aye Captain!" Singer shouts. "Yep!" Cash salutes. "Heck yeah!" Bryan says. Somehow, Marshall mysteriously disappeared from the room. I felt much better, but then yet it felt like he was still close by. "They probably opened doors by now and the Friday Night Boys are already set up so we should go now," Johnson says as he offers his arm. I gladly take it. We started to walk out of the venue in silence. I didn't know what he was thinking but my thoughts were all about him. I wanted to know everything about him, from where he was born to the very size of his shoes. I couldn't help but stay close to him. Alex Johnson made me feel safe and secure, as if my very world rotated around him. "Twenty questions," Johnson says. "I'd like to get to know you." "I'll start. Where are we going?" "Pizza joint down the block. Middle name?" He tucks a strand of hair away from his face: so cute. "Elia. Born in what town?" "Vegas. Um... are you attracted to me?" Johnson stops and asks. I gaze at him and smile. "Of course I am. Or else we wouldn't be walking down the street together at such a close proximity." "So very true," Johnson smiles and continues walking. "Favorite color?" "I have two actually: black and purple." The questions kept going back and forth. He asked the simple questions like favorite food and favorite music. But when we arrived at the restaurant, the questions got really personal and very deep. I ordered my favorite pizza: everything veggie with sausage and pepperoni. Johnson: meat lovers. We found a nice quiet corner in the restaurant and began to munch down on the pizza slices. "So what do you want to do with your life?" Johnson asks. "I'm majoring in public relations so I want to help manage bands. I just love music," I say as I take another bite out of my slice. "Hmmm, you have been asking me more questions than I have. It's your turn." "Go ahead." "Tell me about your past girlfriends," I say. "There's nothing to really talk about in that area," Johnson says slowly. If I had blinked, I would not have seen the dark, yet sad look on his face. "They just come and go." "Did one of them get hurt? I mean- I shouldn't pry into that but-" "She was killed," Johnson blurted out. "The police found her body in the desert. Apparently she was mauled by a pack of coyotes or something. I should have been there for her." "I killed one of my ex boyfriends," I said quietly. "It was self defense though." "Really?" Johnson asks while cocking his head to the side. "What happened?" "First, he tried to slip me the date rape cocktail. I saw him put it in so I 'accidently' dropped it all over him and his new Nike kicks. Then he drove us off a back road and attempted to rape me. I punched him hard in the face and got out the car. Eric- that's his name- got out the car, grabbed a branch and swung it into my back. I fell and he got on top of me, trying to rip off my clothes. I grabbed the nearest thing around me which was a sharp rock, and rammed it into his head. He died of brain damage at the hospital that same night. His parents blamed me but I defended myself. I don't regret what I did. It was protection. My protection." Johnson's warm hand covered mine across the table and his facial expression softened. I turned into an oozy-gooey puddle of mush when he did that. I never had a guy just touch my hand like that, nor look at me that way. Alex just gazed straight into my eyes; he didn't blink, neither did his eyes twitch. It was frightening but so mesmerizing. He calmed me. I wasn't sure how long we were in that position until I heard his cell phone vibrate. He simply picked up his phone with his other hand and answered to speak to the voice on the other line. He still stared at me. The thoughts in my mind were whirling. "I'll be there man," Johnson says as he hangs up. "You ready to go?" "Um y-yeah," I stuttered. "I'm going to the restroom real quick and freshen up and stuff." I move out of the booth and quickly go to the restroom. My heart melted somewhere in my body. Johnson was utter perfection. I checked myself, washed my hands and dried them off. I couldn't help but smile to myself. Johnson is the guy I've been waiting for since I was able to understand what cooties meant. I took one final look in the mirror. Then I froze up. It was him. His eyes were dark and cold. His eyes roamed slowly down my body and back up again, smiling evilly the whole time. Then he spoke three little words that made my body scream to run. "You smell divine." MARSHALL. I whipped around ready to attack him but he was gone. At the same time, a couple of knocks came to the restroom door. I opened it quickly and there was Johnson. As if he knew to come to the door at the right time. "Are you okay?" He asked quietly. I had to reprogram my mind to answer him. It functioned a bit slower than usual. I walked out the restroom and closed the door. "Are you okay?" Johnson growled. This time I knew he growled. "I'm fine," I attempt to smile. "Why?" "I... I just had a hunch," He said scratching his head yet looking around suspiciously. "You left the table very fast." "What can I say? You make me nervous and giddy." "Wow, giddy? I haven't heard that word since the beginning of time. But don't worry; you make me even more nervous. Ready?" "Yeah. Let's get out of here." All I knew was that there was tension in Johnson's mind; his hand on my back held me more protectively. Did he know what I witnessed in the restroom? Does he know something that I don't know? Every time I think about what -or who- I saw, it made me shudder. But Johnson held me closer to him. He must really like me or something. I noticed his stern face looking around the area as we walked back to the venue, but he always smiled when he caught my eye. His eyes sparkled whenever he glance me. Did I mention he is utter perfection?

August 24, 2009I'm Your Getaway... Ch.2 [Alex Johnson]"Aww, thanks!" He laughs. "Oh my gosh! Did I say that out loud?" I cover my mouth. Cue embarrassment. "Yeah you did. But I'm glad you said that. Made my day." Cue cute smile. "Just forget what I said," I muttered looking down. "Too late. I'm keeping that in my head for awhile. You shouldn't be embarrassed about it though. I'm glad that it was you that said that." I smiled and looked away. Good thing I'm black and can't fully blush, although I did feel the heat rush to my face. "So..." Johnson starts. "So..." I say back switching the weight on my feet. "Would you like to be my guest backstage?" Johnson asks while taking a hit from his cigarette. "You wouldn't have to stand with your sister in the pit and the best part: you'll be close to me." "You want to feel me up, don't you?" I arch my eyebrow and smirk. "Only if you want me to," Johnson smiles and stamps out his cigarette. "Or I could do the accidental brush up against the butt. Any one of those will do for me." He laughs. "Well then, I'd be more than happy to. Thanks. But why me?" "Maybe you caught my attention when you were smoking across the street from me. Maybe I'm just very curious about you. Maybe I like you because you're not freaking out about meeting me or any of the guys. Or maybe I'm very attracted to you." Johnson smiles shyly. "Or maybe you still want to feel me up," I say smiling. "Eh, maybe." Johnson looks across the street and rolls his eyes. I glance across the street to see my sister hugging Singer enthusiastically. Ugh. "She has her ticket already?" Johnson mutters. I nod my head. "I'm going to have to sneak you backstage before she sees you or else she'll want to go with you. I have an extra pass so wear this at all times." "You have warm hands," I blurt out. "You must be a good massager." "I wouldn't know. I wish I could massage myself; cuz driving in the van gives me a crick in my back." We start crossing the street quickly and quietly, avoiding my sister at all costs. We make it into the venue and into the dressing room. There was a nice long couch. I smiled and look to Johnson. "Take off your shirt," I say to him. "Lay down on the couch." "Wow, already to second base. Maybe even third base if it includes you taking off something." "Yeah. My shoes. Now take it off now!" "Ooo! I like it when you command me," Johnson says as he takes off his shirt. I did glare at his body and his toned drumming arms. "Enjoying the view?" "Enjoying the tattoo actually. Lay face down." He lies on the couch and stretches out like a white Siberian tiger, resting his head on his now rolled up t-shirt. I climb on top of his legs and rub to warm my hands up. "So now you want to butt rape me? Can't blame you because I'm pretty hot," Johnson says laughing. "Oh yes. I want to tap Johnson's ass!" I mockingly say. I begin massaging his back, starting with a simple shoulder rub with the palms of my hands. Then I begin to gently pound his whole back with my fists of fury. I mentally note his smooth skin; I chuckle when he starts groaning about how amazing that felt. Little did he know I was about to do my signature boney elbow rolls on him. I press my elbows into his back and start kneading into his skin, laughing as he gasps. "OOOW! That's your elbows?!" He shouts. "Is it bad to say I enjoy the pain you're causing me?" I smile as I elbow his spine, lower and upper back, and shoulders. Finally, I return back to using my hands and fingers, simply kneading his skin and muscles then one more rub down. I reluctantly jump off his body and look down at him. He was sleeping! My mind went into evil mode as I kneeled down to his pretty sleeping head. Studying Johnson intrigued me. His roots were blonde yet somehow they blended into the black strands that cascaded around his face. He must have dyed it, I thought to myself. He has a very peaceful resting face. I move closer and then... BAM! Something warm hits my lips at record speed and then pulls back. I became dazed and confused until my thoughts and eyesight began to clear. Of course first thing I see is Johnson staring right into my eyes. Then everything pieced together: the small distance between our faces, the perfect eye contact. He- Johnson- just kissed me. I didn't know what to think of it. I was excited, nervous, surprised, a little pissed off (I thought he was sleeping!). All those feelings rushed to my head. "I guess feeling you up is off the list," Johnson whispered. I couldn't even mouth the words. "AND JOHNSON GETS ACTION ON TOUR!" A guy's voice says. "Hey guys! JOHNSON HAS MOVES!" Enter the rest of the guys in the band. Curly hair cutie with a mole under his left eye: Alex "Singer" Deleon. Long brown hair with a pretty smile: Bryan Dawson. Short hair Mohawk man: Cash Colligan. And the guy who spoke the words with a swish of his hair and a birthmark in his right eye: Alex Marshall. Johnson sighed and got up from the couch, putting his shirt while I got off the ground and brushed myself off. When I finally corrected myself, I caught the glimpse of Marshall staring at me as if I was a piece of meat. I looked away to meet the guys. "Sorry guys. My name is Siobahn," I say quietly. "Johnson invited me back here as a guest and I was just giving him a pre-show massage." "And she is amazing!" Johnson says as he wraps his arm around my waist. "Siobahn got the van crick out of my back, and I feel unhinged to the very bone. She does this thing with her elbows... it's intense but it's awesome in the end." "I'm next in line!" Singer shouts. "I mean, only if you are continuing pre-shows massages. Unless Johnson allowed you to feel him up expertly for his pleasure." Singer laughs as Johnson chucks a water bottle at him. "Hey," Cash sighs. "If one get's massaged-" "WE ALL GET MASSAGED!" They shout together. "I don't mind massaging your backs," I say. "If it'll help you all perform tonight, then so be it. But shirts must be taken off." "She wants to be able to tell her sister that she felt us all up before the show," Johnson smiles while handing me a cold bottle of water. "Who's your sister?" Bryan asks while checking his laptop. "Ari. She was wearing the purple shirt saying 'Singer Got Soul' on the front and 'Singer Got Back' on the back," I say while opening the bottle of water. "Be careful being around her, Singer. She is focused on having you as my brother-in-law in the near future." "Need not worry Siobahn," Singer says as he takes off his shirt and lies on the couch. "I have my girl in my heart and that's all that matters. I won't be THAT type of brother-in-law to you, but maybe in another way." He glances at Johnson who was checking his phone, then turns to winks at me. So I get to work on massaging each and every band member. Singer had to be the boniest guy ever so the elbows rolls were actually hurting me more than it was hurting him. After the massage, he looked bewildered and happy at the same time. Next was Cash. He had to be the sweetest guy I have ever talked to besides Johnson. He seriously had great insight about life and what he wants to do in the future. I just knew I could be friends with him. Bryan was next and he is very long. I had to stretch out more to fully get to his shoulders but he appreciated the massage efforts. He never had a massage as detailed and deep as mine which made me smile of course. Finally, there was Marshall. I was quite reluctant to do the rubdown on him. There was something off. Being around him made me very uncomfortable, and I just couldn't put my finger on it as to why. After he laid a towel on the couch, he lied down and I climbed on top. He felt... cold.

I'm Your Getaway... Ch.1 [Alex Johnson]*new side story- hope you like :)* My name is Siobahn Weldon. I'm 20 years old. And I have fallen in love with Alex Johnson, a drummer and a werewolf... how my story begins? At a venue. Don't you always get that feeling when you know you're being stared at? I have that feeling now. As I take a drag out of my Newport cigarette, I nonchalantly look at my surroundings, checking out some guys unloading instrument casings from their trailer and taking them into the venue. I bought tickets for my 14 year old little sister Ari to see her favorite band called The Cab for her birthday. She has a thing for the front man named Singer Deleon or something like that. Their music was actually not bad but I wasn't truly crazy for it. I inhale the smoke and hold my breath for as long as possible just to feel the buzz, closing my eyes and concentrating on counting. 1, 2, 3, 4... I slowly open my eyes and catch the culprit staring me down from across the street. He was cute from far away, had a bit of a rocker flare to him. He wore black skinny jeans and a black V-neck t-shirt, complete with a crisp black DC cap blending in with his dark black hair. He brought his hand to his lips for me to see that he was smoking a cigarette also. He looked away quickly. I exhaled. "I got my picture with Marshall!" My sister runs up beside me, smiling brightly. "That's Marshall, Cash, and Bryan I got pics with so far. I'm so nervous to get one with Singer, but I can't find him anywhere." "Oh?" I murmur and take another hit on my Newport, still looking at the guy across the street. "Ugh, why do you even smoke Siobahn? You're gonna die from lung cancer at age 45. I learned that in school." "Thanks for telling me," I mutter finishing off my cig. "That guy keeps staring at me." Ari looks across the street and grimaces a bit. "Oh, that's Johnson, the drummer of The Cab. I never really liked him." "How old is he?" I hear myself ask Ari. "And why don't you like him?" "He's 20. Like you. He smokes. Like you. And he never talks to anyone. Like you. He's weird too." "Like me too?" I grunt. "You want a picture with him?" "I guess so. Looks like he's done with his smoking. Plus I want all the pics with the guys so I can show my friends tomorrow online. Let's go over." We look both ways before we cross the street. I started to feel nervous as I approached this Johnson fellow. As we got close, I notice his eyes gazing straight at me, doing a quick flick at my sister before looking back at me. "Hi Johnson!" Ari says sounding overly eccentric. "My name is Ari. This is my sister Siobahn." He smiles at bit and shakes Ari's hand first, very quickly. He shakes my hand and holds it for a second longer than most handshakes. I smile crookedly and gently pull away. Okay, he was much cuter up close. "Can I take a picture with you?" Ari asks smiling. "Sure," He says quietly. Ari shoves the camera into my hand and I quickly scold at the back of her head. Johnson notes my facial expression and quickly looks away, trying to hold the laugh that caught in his throat. Ari puts her hand behind his back awkwardly as he puts his arm lightly around her shoulders. I position the camera right and take the picture with a click. Ari quickly lets go of him and takes the camera from me to view the result. I look up at Johnson the same time he looks up at me. "Would you like to take a picture too?" Johnson asks me while checking me out from head to toe. I felt weird and excited when he did that. I look at Ari and she glances between Johnson and me. "Go stand beside him," Ari says. "I'll take the picture." No shit Sherlock. So I timidly walk to stand beside him and he smirks as he gets a firm grip on my side, barely grazing my side boobage. I shuddered excitedly. I gently put my hand around his waist, and felt compelled to his warm body. If I had wanted to, I could have turned my head to the side and gently kissed his neck. Why am I thinking that now? Ari takes the picture and looks up at us both. "You two would actually make a perfect couple," Ari say. "The chemistry is strong in both of you." "Remind me to take all Star Wars movies away from you," I say, rolling my eyes. Johnson chuckles. "Well obviously I'm telling the truth," Ari crosses her arms. "You're still holding him pretty tight." I glance down to see that my sister was indeed right. Both our bodies were closer than usual when it comes down to meeting a stranger you barely know. I glance up at Johnson only to catch him blush a hue of apple red. I slowly let go of him and scratch my head. Awkward. Of course, my sister wasn't done with the two of us. "Good thing you're single, right Siobahn?" Ari smirks. "She has a thing for guys with long hair and musical experience." "Siobahn has good taste then," Johnson says while leaning on a wall, glancing at me smiling. "I'm lucky to be single myself. Gives me a chance to think and see what I've been missing out on." "My sister has been thinking for a year now. Her last boyfriend was a total jerk. Only wanted her for one thing..." I cannot believe she said that. I'm going to kill her. Seriously. Then Johnson saves me. "Hey, that looks like Singer over there. Maybe I should go help him-" Ari whips around. "It's HIM! Eeeek! Be right back Siobahn!" She runs across the street. "No offense but your sister is a bitch," Johnson says quietly. "That was really rude." I grunt. "She's the smartass in the family. I'll bop her when we get home. She is so lucky this is her birthday gift." "Oh, so you didn't come for me? I'm hurt," He says as he mockingly pouts. I smile. This guy is really funny and cute. "I'm sorry," I pout back. "But will you smile if I say I like your drumming skills?" "Of course!" He smiles. "So... you're name is Siobahn, you're single. Hmmm, how old are you?" "Twenty. So... you're Johnson, you play drums; you're single and 20 years old too. Only difference is you have drums to pound on. I have fingers to tickle the ivories." "Piano player?" Johnson asks. "You don't like Marshall then?" "No. Never even met him. I've seen his photo but he looks too clean to me. I like a guy rough around the edges." "Hmmm..." Johnson nods as he pulls out another cigarette. "Do I look rough enough?" You're perfect, I say to myself.

June 11, 2009His Amber Eyes... Ch.14
Okay... so I've just been kidnapped by a vampire wanting revenge for being turned into a creature of the night. This Jersey fellow has just taken me to what seems like the bachelor pad version of a warehouse. And I have two guys -one human and Jersey the vamp- staring at me. I should have went to Cat's place. "So..." I start out saying with a smile. "Amber, right?" The human guy says while eating a vegan burger, still staring me down with his glasses. "Yeah..." "I'm Andy, this is Jersey," he points to the vampire with the snake bites. "The other guys you probably saw there -Patrick's the chubby guy, the guy with that fro was Joe, and then you know Pete. "I know. He kidnapped me from Wi- Demetri," I answer back. "I don't mean you any harm," Jersey raises his arms in surrender. "This is all Pete's plan." "I understand why he did it... I mean after all, Demetri forced it on him to become a vampire. I saw it. I was there." "YOU WERE THERE?!" Pete's angry voice rises from behind me. "You saw me get bit and you didn't STOP IT?!" I turn around from where I stood and studied each guy. For one thing, Joe indeed had a huge fro. Riotous curls escaped from his head to his sides on his head. The chubby guy Patrick had glasses with a trucker hat on. And Pete had jet black hair with skinny jeans on. No shirt. Just multiple amounts of tattoos everywhere. "First off Petey or whatever you're name is... Don't scream at me like that! I don't appreciate it. And secondly, I was just a human when I witnessed the biting. What could I do? Run down the stairs and stop Demetri from turning you? If you haven't realized by now, I am just partially vampire. I can barely do anything. I can only control the thoughts in my head from Demetri." "Well your fiancee has it coming! Because I have a special pack of guys to destroy him," Pete smiles evilly. "Right now, I don't care what you think about Demetri. But what group of vampires can stop the most powerful vampire in this town honestly?" "Who said anything about vampires?" Pete replies with a smirk. "I'm talking werewolves." "W-w-werewolves?" I sputter out. "They exist too?" "Demetri never told you about werewolves?" Patrick asks quietly. "No, never!" I exclaim. "Well they do exist," Joe says while cleaning a Star Wars bowl. "We would give you a lesson but they know their history best." "Why don't we introduce them to you?" Pete smirks again and turns. And one by one, different guys appear from the top of the stairs. The first guy had fiery red hair and a piercing in his bottom lip. "Travis Clark the leader," Andy says. The second had curly brown hair with glasses, yet seemed timid and quiet. "Drew. Most deadliest in the pack, yet the quiet ones always are." The third guy had short hair and a sparkling look to his eyes, yet they stopped when his eyes were on me. I know him from somewhere... "Cash Colligan. Pretty nifty tracker," Patrick says. "You're from my brother's band," I whisper. "How can he not know you are a werewolf?" "He does know-" Cash starts. "-because he is one," An all-too familiar voice finishes. I look up at the top of the stairs and see MY TWIN BROTHER. My own flesh and blood is a werewolf. Why is this not registering in my mind? He looks the same, hair swept to the right, simple black vest and white v-neck shirt, skinny jeans... the same twin brother I've always known. Except now he's a werewolf. "You can't be serious! Alex?!" I shriek. "Yeah," My brother comes down the stairs. "Your brother is a werewolf. I got bit by Cash awhile back. Just started wrestling after one of the concerts then the moon came out. It was all a blur after that. Eventually I woke up a little sore and in the van going to the next destination on our tour. As night got around, I felt sick and next thing I know, I'm growing tufts of hair and smelling more than usual, bones just creaking and moving... The guys helped me with what I'm going through and I've accepted it." "You have no idea how many times I've apologized to him," Cash says as he pats my brother's back. "But I'm glad he's part of the pack." "We're all glad he's part of the pack," Travis Clark looms close by. "At least Cash made the right decision to have your brother join the right group." "What are you trying to say?" I ask him. "You have made the worst choice in your life! You choose to go vampire! But Not just any vampire but the top vampire in this city wants you!" Alex screams. "And how is this my choice? You didn't have a choice once Cash bit you! And look at you! You accepted being a werewolf. I accepted being turned into a vampire and you can't change my mind." "It's not like we could change your mind anyways," Travis says. "Once a vampire finds his other half, it's over for the human. The human sees their true lover's color in their eyes and they immediately become their betrothed. However, there is a problem. Has Demetri drank all your blood yet?" "No. He has only bit me twice," I say. "By third bite I'll be fully a vampire." At those words, Alex and the others quickly clenched their fists together and grimaced at the thought of me being fully vamp. "Well some of the damage has been done but not enough," Travis ponders. "Because one thing, you still smell human but you have the hint of vampire smell which is disgusting. Boys, our goal is to keep Amber from Demetri as long as possible. Once we kill him, she shoulod be better." "Whoa wha! You are not killing my fiancee! I shout. "Oh, but we are!" Alex says. "Once we kill him, you'll feel really sick but you'll heal up in time. Because if you were fully vampire, you'd die with him and I don't want to witness the death of my twin sister." "I want my revenge!" Pete shouts. "He will die one way or another." "Alex," I plead with my eyes. "Don't let them kill him. Please." As i started to plead with my brother, I found a warm hint of blood in the air. Sweet delicious blood. The pulsing blood sound and the drift of that captivating blood was coming from Joe as he chewed on some toast. I didn't notice my body slowly and seductively walking towards him. My mind was only on his beating heart and the rush of blood pulsing through his veins. His throat looks heavenly... Then all of a sudden, I went into attack mode when Drew and Travis blocked my view from my hunger pang. As I lanuched myself towards them, a strong pair of hands gripped my arms and threw me onto the couch. "Amber, you must calm down!" Cash struggles with me. "Alex, hold down her legs! She's farther along than I feared. Now she is craving blood." "LET ME HAVE A TASTE! I WANT HIS BLOOD!" I shout. "Amber, Amber... shhhhh... it's me Alex," He purrs into my ear. Calm down sister. I'm here for you." At once I calmed down and started crying. "I smelled Joe's blood. It was so overwhelming and empowering me. I want blood Alex." "This is worse than I thought," Travis says. "But we can't attack tonight. He'll expect us to be out there for him. We make a plan after we rest. Plus we need all the info we can get about the mansion security from you Amber." First, I'm craving blood. I've been kidnapped. My twin brother is a werewolf. And now they want info on how to kill William. Did I miss anything?

February 3, 2009His Amber Eyes... Ch.13
I am not in the mood. At all. If I had the chance I would kill William. Okay... I wouldn't but thinking about it makes me happy. Being stuck in my bedroom basement is not fun at all. Especially if your future vampire husband is staring at you, trying to get you to smile and be happy as if nothing happened three nights ago. That's right. I was out for three nights after he bit me. Just thinking about how he bit me made the bite marks on my neck sting. My senses were more heightened, and a certain male was trying to pry into my thoughts but to no avail. The only thing I could truly focus on was the mirror in my room as I sat on my bed. It was odd to see this beautiful female with pale skin and blood red lips looking back. Just one more bite to go. "Are you even going to look at me?" William asks. "Can you at least move so I know you're listening to me?" After the last bite I'm going to be a full vampire, another special pale seductress of the night. I want it but I want someone to know. I want my brother to know. But how.... why didn't I think of my friend? CAT! "I'm going for a walk," I say as I get up. "And stop trying to get into my thoughts. You'll only be disappointed." "You're not going anywhere until we talk," William says as he walks to the door. "Where are you going?" "Well I'm not going to see my brother if that's what you want to know. I'm going to see my friend Cat." "That's probably half a lie, but she's safe I guess. Why are you going?" "To get away from you." "Amber, I'm trying to apologize but you won't listen to me! Don't get stubborn." "You can have your goons follow me all you want since I don't have my phone," I roll my eyes as I get my jacket. "Well here it is," William hands what is supposed to be my T-Mobile phone. "William, this isn't my phone...It's a Blackberry! And it doesn't even have my family's numbers in it." "I took the liberty to add all of the vampires' numbers and all my emergency contact numbers to it. Just to be safe." "Well in that case... don't wait up," I toss the phone onto the bed and go up the steps to my kitchen and grab my keys. To feel and smell the night air was so refreshing to me. I walked down the street and heard kids playing in their rooms, young adolescents slurring their words as they tried their first bottle of vodka, and parents screaming at each other over nothing in particular. It's the city life. There was something else in the air that tickled my throat just a little. It was a warm taste... very inviting and hypnotic. I'm not sure what it was but I know it will nag me. Of course I can sense two of William's guards tracking me just to make sure I arrive at the appointed place. Quite annoying I say. I pass by Delilah's shop and see her working to put some new clothes onto hangers and rearranging props to different areas of the store. "Well," I say to myself. "I haven't visited her in awhile." "That's for damn sure!" Delilah responds as she comes over to the door and looks me over. "It seems your transformation is almost complete, and yet I sense some agitation. Come on in and explain." "Okay. It's just that Willi -Demetri- is very controlling. He won't let me tell my brother what is to happen to me," I say as I sit over by the cash register. "I rather have my brother know who I am than keep it away from him and face the consequences." "That is quite true," Delilah says as she leans onto the counter. "But you'll be giving away an ancient secret to a human. I say rebel against my son. It might piss him off but you'll get even with him." "Unfortunately, he took my phone and has his guys track everywhere I go. I'm really supposed to be at my friend's house." "Is she human?" Delilah asks quietly. "Last time I checked," I laugh to myself bitterly. "You might not want to go tonight. Your hunger might overtake you." "My hunger? William made me a chicken salad so I'm full. I think he found bad meat for something just to make me listen to him though." "The meat wasn't bad and I'm not talking about that hunger, darling. Your OTHER hunger." I look at Delilah and realization poured all over me. That scent in the air while I was walking. It isn't just any scent. It's the scent of real vampire food. The scent of a warmth that pulsed through every humans veins. The scent of blood. "Oh... You are right. I'm beginning to smell them." "Which is why I didn't want you walking to your friends in the first place," the persona of Demetri appeared in the doorway. "I knew it would come to that." "Oh GOSH!" Delilah exclaims. "Can you just leave her alone for just a second?" "You took the words right out of my mouth," I muttered. "Not until she carries this phone around with her at all times. I can't have my wife walking around the streets, partially human and craving blood. Only until after the wedding and I change her completely," Demetri explains. "And when is the wedding?" I ask while folding my arms. "Three nights from tonight. I was trying to explain it to you-" "THREE NIGHTS?!" Both Delilah and I exclaim. Just when I was about to strangle him, the door slams open to four guys, two of them looking vampire, but one looking familiar... "You changed me into a vampire against my will!" The guy exclaims. "You're going to pay." Oh my... it's the guy I witnessed getting bit by Demetri on the street. In the same area. "Oh really Peter! Is all this ruckus necessary?" Demetri waves his arms around. "And you brought a snack for me? I knew you'd be powerful enough for my clan." "Who said we're your food supply?" A slightly chubby guy with glasses on asks. "I should kill you right where you stand!" "Shut up Patrick!" Peter growls. "You took the only thing I had to live for, and for that... I'm taking something that you can't live without." "And what would that be, young chump?" Demetri polishes off his golden-tipped cane. I only catch the glimpse and shift of Peter's eyes landing on me before being grabbed by the unidentified male vampire and swung over his shoulder. "PUT ME DOWN DAMMIT!" I shout. "Don't you dare-" Demetri voice shouts before its cut off by a crash in the store. "Jersey, take her now!" Pete shouts. "Patrick, Joe, take down the guards! I'll deal with Demetri!" The rush of wind picked up around my head as swiftly went through the night sky. Where the hell am I going? Why am I being kidnapped? What is going on???

January 3, 2009His Amber Eyes... Ch.12
I'm kind of scared to become a vampire. I mean, come on! I never expected for vampires to exist in the first place. But now that they do exist, I am actually scared to become one of these mysterious creatures of the night. Reading stories about their seductive ways, not being able to see themselves in a mirror, and turning into bats... William has been helping me understand the ways of a vampire. It's been two days and a lot of history books on vampires. But for one thing, they never turn into bats. "No small bats?" I ask. "People believed that we could turn into bats," William says while sitting on my bed. "The thing is, bats just love us. They love to be with us. In a way, we all have a special bat for each vampire in our world. Mine's name is Waldo." "Waldo? HA! Where is Waldo?" "Reason why I named him that. He likes to disappear and play hide n seek. Bats love us because we are like them, in a way." "So I have a bat?" "She'll discover you once you turn full vampire. She is probably traveling towards here now. It's like a signal in her mind to come when the time is right. Most likely my bat shall take interest in her as she will in Waldo. You have a name for her yet?" "I'll think about it. What else is there to learn? Vampires can't walk in the sun, but able to see themselves in a mirror. A vampire couple is joined by the true color in their eyes. A vampire must suck a human dry unless they are their true love. Some get gifts if they are a couple. Blah blah blah! Too much!" "I know, I know!" William laughs scooting over to my side of the bed, kissing my forehead. "It's a lot to learn but you'll understand all of it soon." "I only hate the number one rule: never tell a human. I know my brother won't say anything." "Not this again!" William sighs as he grabs a pillow and puts it to his head. "You just can't!" "I trust my own brother for him to know the truth! He understands everything I know!" "Marshall is a nice guy but not even Johnson told him that he's a vampire. He knows it's in the rules." "I've made my decision William. I'm telling my brother," I say as I get my cell phone out. I never thought I would ever be afraid of William or his Demetri persona. Never... until now. William no longer shown himself in front of me as he took my cell phone, slowly came off the bed, and stare me down. "You are not telling him ever, Amber." "I am telling my brother who I am and what I am going to be. Now give me back my cell phone." "No." "William! Give me back my cell!" I jump off the bed. "No, I won't have you risk the existence of the vampire world." "Are you kidding me? Now you are just pissing me off. One last chance to give me my cell phone back! Don't make me hurt you." William gently slides my cell phone into his pocket and looks back up at me. "I'd like to see you try." I don't know what happened or how it even started but my aggressor lever became high. Somewhat uncontrollable. I don't believe I've ever been so angry in my life. I glared William down as a target, but he just casually leaned against the wall. I started my slow hunt to the point I was right in front of him. Then I pounced. He wasn't on the ground because he was on the bed, smiling. I smiled back evilly. I turned for the door and almost opened it only for him to slam the door back. "Let go of the door! William!" "Amber, you need to calm down. You're just tired. We'll talk about it tomorrow!" "No!" I push him halfway across the room. Now I've done it. William looked up at me with fierce golden eyes as he swiftly grabbed me and pinned to the bed. I struggled with all of the strength I had but I was stuck. "GET OFF ME!" "There's only one way to calm you down. I really did not want to do this now but I must," William says. He quickly leaned in and bit my neck. This time it hurt inexplicably. The pain seared down my neck to my shoulder. I screamed until I couldn't scream anymore. As I slipped into unconsciousness, I just knew that when I woke up, I was not going to talk to William. Period.

November 23, 2008His Amber Eyes... Ch.11
Usually when I meet new people, I tend to just shut down automatically and keep my eyes to the ground. The ground and I were best friends and that we would always have conversations about homework and guys. Cat could tell you all about it! Eventually I talked to Cat in her face when she got me a vinyl of blues and jazz favorites of the 20s. But anyways, meeting people is just way too hard for me. Everyone on my family can talk a storm but I'm just like a quiet little mouse eating a nibble of cheese. William had to do this to me! As the door opens, I freeze up and start to tilt my head to the ground until I catch the scent of peppermint. Peppermint? How is that possible? "Demetri, wherever did you find such an exotic lady?" A male steps up and tilts his hat to me with a goofy grin on his face. "Sorry Siska," Demetri chuckles to himself. "She is indeed one of a kind and I won't share her with anyone. Amber, may I introduce you to my second-in-command, Adam T. Siska? Adam, this is my fiancee Amber Jax." "You may call me Sisky if you like. It is very nice to finally meet Demetri's true love," Adam delicately takes my hand and swiftly pecks it, chuckling to himself. "I was beginning to think Demetri would never have a woman to control him." I glance up at Demetri to see him smirk to himself and shake his head softly from side to side. I never noticed how light and well kept his hair is until now. "Well do let us in, Adam! My lady must meet the others," Demetri says glancing down at me. "But of course!" Sisky opens the door fully and I gasp in shock and delight. The inside of the mansion was richly ornamented with paintings of roses on the white plaster walls. The double staircase had intricate carvings of flowers and fruits all over the railings, the tiles on the floor shining and without a speck of dust. I was truly afraid to walk into such a beautiful home. The last thing I examined were the vampires staring at me with curious different color eyes. It seemed like becoming a vampire made eye color jump out more against the smooth, pale skin. Blue eyes sparkle, green eyes radiate, brown eyes twinkle, and hazel eyes glisten. Only William/Demetri's amber eyes overwhelm and stun me. "Ladies and gentlemen," Demetri's voice echoes across the room. "May I introduce to you all, my lover and future wife, Ms. Amber Jax..." As he takes my hand and walks me through the crowd, I start to feel relaxed... something that never happens when I'm meeting new people. Some of the male vampires have their girlfriends or wives with them and they understand the weird feelings I'm having with becoming a vampire. The only thing they couldn't help me with was Demetri himself. "Demetri is a very powerful yet quiet man," One girl said with radiating green eyes and dark curly hair. "He always gets what he wants," Another named Raven said. "Any female would die or kill just for him to look their way. It's very good that you got him for your own. The female vampire population have been fighting just to see who could be Demetri's kryptonite. Well all I can say is the kryptonite is much more lovelier than described." "I don't know what to say... I mean if these females really want Demetri so much, couldn't they just ask him to go out on a date with them?" I ask timidly. "Oh they have tried, but he shuts them down severely!" Raven nods her head as the others agree. I look over at Demetri talk vampire matters with the males circling around and he catches my eye. I would never hurt you the way I hurt those girls. And how do you hurt them? By saying no and walking away. I guess my Demetri persona makes it seem like the most harshest thing to come out of my mouth. If I was to be just truly William, then those same girls would start whining and I can't stand whiners. I shrug the thoughts away and continue chatting with the vampire girls. I met so many vampires that night I felt like I lost count. There was one vampire that kind of bothered me and it was Demetri's third-in-command, Michael Guy Chislett. He never smiled and when I gave him a quick glance, he just glared back. I just avoided eye contact. As the night drew to a close, Demetri nodded and smiled gently to the girls and gently took my hand to the door. I could hear the vampires running to their dual coffins and closing the lids. We walk home silently, letting our thoughts do the talking for each other, William transferring data and opinions of the others. We walked down to my new basement bedroom, but then he waited outside my door. I closed the door behind me and quickly change into my sleepwear. When I opened the door again, he had also changed into some sleepwear. We both climbed into bed and I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "What was that for?" He ask smiling with fangs gleaming bright. "For the bed... and everything," I smile back and peck his lips. William stared at me with his sparkling eyes and leaned in slowly. His lips slowly analyzed the warmth, touch, taste, and movement of my lips. I don't think he is going to bite me the way he is kissing me. He slowly pulled back and gave me an adorable eskimo kiss before laying back into the pillows. I snuggled close to him, letting him smell my scent and hold me close to him. Just two bites to go.

November 9, 2008The Cab In-Studio AT&T Peformance at XL106.7I am going to begin this amazing adventure with saying something vital to all and that is... IF YOU THINK THAT A BAND DOES NOT CHECK THEIR MYSPACE COMMENTS, WELL... THINK AGAIN! [I seriously mean this because it's a huge part of my story] My story truly begins in 2007 when I first heard The Cab's single "I'll Run" on their Myspace. I loved their sound, as I do love soulful music with a rock flair to it. I looked at their profile picture, and the one guy that stuck out to me was Alex Johnson, the drummer. I thought he looked pretty cute. As time went along and they added more music to their page, along with more pictures, I really started noticing Johnson more, and I just knew I liked him alot. I saw the band for the first time in February with Cobra Starship, and I just about got lovestruck in a way with Johnson playing his drums. In fact, I was too scared to ask him or any of the band members for a picture. I really just wanted one hug from him. So after I got their CD, I started my little campaign for him, the "Johnson is Love" movement. You might see these random comments all the time on their Myspace page or Facebook or even Youtube under the video comments. I really wanted him to know that he's the best in my book. Well... he found out alright. So I got to the radio station around 2:20pm, checked in, and met up with other winners, waiting patiently in a rather stuffy room. Glory, the lady who fixed up the contest, told us that the band was running late so we waited. What is very interesting was that one of the winner's father recognized me from The Cab's myspace. I thought that was funny, untilI befriended two girls there, one of them I remember being Raven. Awesome girl. Then I find out my co-worker loves The Cab as she walks into the room. Hahaha. So anyways, they finally come around 2:45pm and go set up in the studio. I could hear Singer practicing "Bounce" on the mic, so I got anxious to get in. Finally we are all ushered into the room, and sat down. They passed out promo cards with the band members on random. I got my favorite member JOHNSON!
I practically started giggling in nervousness. I mean, this would be the first time I actually got to greet The Cab as a whole, especially Johnson. I was practically shaking. Jana from XL106.7 introduced them and brought Singer and Ian into the room. First thing I noticed was that Singer was skinny like me. Hahaha! Next thing I noticed was Ian's hair never stops growing. So they got interviewed real quick and then they played "Bounce" acoustically. I sang along and completely fell in awe with Deleon's voice. Ian played beautifully with the acoustic guitar. Unfortunately, they finished playing but then Jana introduced the rest of the band into the room. Then Johnson steps out first... I about had a heart attack for two reasons: one, he was as tall as me-which I love about guys- and two, he was way finer in person. I really was shaking at that moment. Then Cash and Marshall come out of the room, smiling and waving to all of us, and I just got happy period. Finally, the whole band was there in front of me and I get to meet them all.
So the whole band is together, and we get off the air, which means... picture time. I was about to flip. I tried to stay calm but I just couldn't. I mean it's Johnson less than 20 feet away. As the line got closer, I got videotaped by this lady for the band. So to calm my nerves, I talked about how excited I was about meeting Johnson finally. I have no idea when it's going to be played but I'm excited to see how much of a dork I looked like. The big moment came: Me, my coworker Valerie, and her friend greeted the band. I went like this: Shake hand with Marshall: "Hi!" Shake hand with Ian: "Hi!" Shake hand with Johnson: "LOVE YOU!" Shake hand with Singer: "Hi!" Shake hand with Cash: "Hi!" They all laughed when I almost shouted at Johnson. Then we took a picture, of course me being between Singer and Johnson.
So after that, we all turned around to talk to the band and they complimented my awesome Batman hat. Then Cash looks at me oddly. Cash: "Weren't you wearing an orange shirt in your Myspace picture?" Me: "Uh... yeah? How you know that?" [I'm in a state of shock at this moment. How doe he know that??] Cash: "You're that girl who leaves those "Johnson is Love" comments every day." Singer, Ian, Johnson, and Marshall: "Oh wow! It IS you! Hahaha!" Me: "Oh wow! I can't believe you guys recognized me!" Ian: "Oh yeah! You left me a comment on my Myspace saying you were coming to see us today. Well I finally get to meet you!" Really at this point, I avoided eye contact with Johnson during this whole convo. But then... Johnson: "You know, the crazy thing is... my own dad knows who you are from Myspace. He asked me if I knew you or something." ***Fan Girl Moment*** JOHNSON'S FATHER KNOWS WHO I AM? IS IT THAT NOTICEABLE THAT I COMMENT THEIR PAGE EVERYDAY TO THE POINT THAT HIS OWN FATHER LOOKED ON THE MYSPACE AND SEE THIS RANDOM BLACK CHICK SAYING HOW MUCH SHE LOVES JOHNSON??? Well then... I say this makes the transition of "meeting the parents" better on my terms. Anyways... ***End Fan Girl Moment*** Me: "Seriously, I wasn't trying to spam you guys page. I didn't think you all read the comments that much. I was just making out a point, because I seriously do love you Johnson. You're the best!" Johnson: "Thanks!" Me: "Uh... can I get a hug?" Johnson: "Of course!" So I got my hug from the guy that I have liked since 2007. The only thing I truly wanted from him and I got it. But it doesn't stop there... After the pictures and everything, Me and my new friends went downstairs and were trying to figure out the best route to get from where we were to UCF Arena for Rock Band Live. The band was still in the parking lot and so I decided to walk over and ask them for directions. It took guts, and more air intake. I walked over and waited as Johnson and Ian were whispering about some text message. Johnson turned around and noticed me standing there politely. Johnson: "Oh wow sorry... what's up?" [Cue beautiful smile.] Me: I'm trying to figure out if you guys knew how to get from here to UCF. Johnson: I got no clue, but I can find out. So he asks his manager and his manager gets the GPS system out of the car. While he was doing that... Johnson: "I didn't notice earlier, but your kicks are SWEET!" Ian: "Oh wow, I didn't see that either! Those are awesome!" Me: "Thanks! They were selling in stores for 70 bucks, but I did some online shopping and found them for $40!" Ian: "I have to say those are the best looking DCs I have ever seen! What is that? Leopard print? Of what?" Johnson: "Nothing is better than doing some online shopping." [Looks up at me. Cue another amazing smile.]
[Those are the hotness huh?] Even their manager who finally got the GPS exclaimed at how awesome my shoes are. I felt so much more comfortable around those two after that. I viewed the directions real quick and realized I still had to take the long way there. Ugh. Oh well. Gas is getting cheaper right? For now. So finally, they had to leave but luckily before I turned around... Johnson: "Well I'll see you at the concert, Cat. Drive safely there!" ***Fan Girl Moment*** I never told him my name! But then yet... if you comment their page so much, maybe they do know your name by the end. But he remembered my name... -blushing and looking into the sunset- ***End Fan Girl Moment*** They leave and I decide I need to leave in order to make it to the Meet n Greet for Panic at the Disco. But that's another story.... So I end this adventure saying this: The Cab really does check their own Myspace and they read the comments. Say the right thing and they might notice you. Oh and one more thing: JOHNSON IS LOVE!!!!!!

November 3, 2008His Amber Eyes... Ch.10
I notice the lights in the mansion and my cottage are on as we pull up to my new home. I concentrated on the one solitary figure moving aroung in his room, putting on clothing and checking out his complete outfit. What a perfectionist William is. I hae been thinking about this whole William and Demetri persona. It seems like when he is Demetri, he is authorative and very dominant. But when he's William, he's well spoken and tender to the touch. It is as if he has two personalities. Maybe I could create a new name and a new persona for vampires to fear. How though? I am shy and I am far from being fierce. "Let's just hurry up," Lily glowers in her chair. "Absolutely," Brendon tries to smile, glancing up at the mansion. We start unpacking the boxes into my cottage. Somehow, there was new furniture and antique lamps everywhere in the living room so I was completely furnished to the brink with 20s decor. William. I smile to myself and take my boxes of clothes to the basement, which I had decided to make my master bedroom. What I liked about making this my new room is that the moment I become full vampire, I have somewhere to hide from the sun and any spare rays that might peek through a window. I had turned on my light and gasped at this huge circular bed smack dab in the center of my room. A black frame surrounded the bottom portion of this bed with dark red roses and little green stems carved into it. A soft, golden mosquito mesh curtain cascaded from the ceiling, circling the bed and just barely touching the floor. I wasn't the only one in awe of the bed. "My gosh!" Lily whispers. "Your bed is amazing! Where did you get it from?" "Demetri gave it to her as an engagement present," Brendon sighs. "He designed it himself, and he had a feeling that Amber might like it." "I love it," I whispered. "I've always wanted a bed like this, but how did he know?" I only asked that question truly for Lily to hear because I already knew how Demetri would know. Sharing minds do have its advantages. He's trying to win me over with his suave words and carpenter skills, but he hasn't won me over with this secret choice that I must make myself. "Don't worry Brendon," Lily says as she puts down her box. "You don't need to make something that intricate for me. Simple and clean is my thing." "Of course," Brendon says gushing a little. "I have way too many ideas to count." Just looking at Brendon's face told me he had nothing planned out. His main priority is to tell Lily what he truly is but how will she respond? Will she try to kill him on the spot? Will she accept him as easily as I did with William? All these questions makes me ponder on the one choice I need to answer. Will I tell my own twin brother I am going to become a vampire? Or will I tell him that everything is fine and tell him I can never see him again? This is the most difficult decision I have ever made. We finish bringing all the boxes in... it is 10pm. "Lily," Brendon straightens out his back and glances up at the mansion. "I need to get you home now." "Yeah, I am pretty tired. Well maybe I'll see you around Amber," Lily smiles offering her hand again, and I take it daintly again. "Very nice meeting you too," I say as she leaves my home. "Get dressed comfortably," Brendon whispers. "You're meeting the other Dandies in a couple of minutes." "Now?" I whisper frightingly and run downstairs to change. I cannot believe this! I am to meet these guys now? I guess I should wear my simple black dress... No... wear the green dress that my mother gave to you... it's in your room. Of course you would have still grabbed those clothes. Did you- I must say that gold dress will suit you well for our wedding or maybe just a night out on the town, darling. You have it with you, don't you? Just so you don't hide it from me. I find it special... I find the dress on a maple wood dresser in the far corner of my bedroom and change quickly yet nervously. I find some decent flats and walk up to open my door. Then Mr. Divine opens the door for me and I gape at his outfit. His whole outfit was green like mines! His sharp full suit was amazingly tailored to his body, and his cane had a green ruby at the top. "I thought that we'd match tonight," Demetri says. I notice two other Dandies standing behind him taking guard, taking quick glances in my direction. "Okay..." I whisper as I take his arm and walk towards the mansion. "How many Dandies are there total?" "Approximately 107 total in the city of Chicago," Demetri says. "Not all of them live here in this mansion. I bought some other real estate around the outskirts of the city for the others to live in. The 20 who live here have supernatural capabilities along with their wives or girlfriends whom are vampires too. 'Tis the reason why I don't you to walk alone in this mansion without me or Brendon." He simply grins with his sparkling fangs and we continue walking to the front entrance. I can hear movement on the inside, growing nervous with each step to the large black door. It'll be okay, Amber. I won't let them touch a single hair on you. Just a couple of handshakes and quick little smiles to all... nothing serious. I couldn't be a full vampire before I meet them? They need to know your scent before you change so that way they can protect you from rogue vamps out there. I can't always be there for you because I meet up with the other Dandies on certain days. I truly only trust Brendon with you, but the others wouldn't want to cross the path of Demetri Chloe for their lives' sake. I look like crap. You look like my goddess now stop fussing and get ready. I'm as ready as I'll ever be...

October 24, 2008His Amber Eyes... Ch.9
Moving these boxes does a body good, but I think my body has a defect with strength and weight. The lighter boxes with scarves and lightweigth dresses are fine, but actual clothing and shoes make my back hurt. Through the pain, I still think about my two horrific choices: either telling my twin the truth or not tell him the truth. Putting him in harm's way is something I don't wish to bestow on him. But at the same time, if he finds out on his own, then he won't trust me like he does now. I need to make the choice that's right for him, but which choice is it? "Are you okay?" Lily asks a little concerned. "You have a worried look on your face." "It's nothing," I shake my head, smiling. "I'm just a little nervous to move." "I would be, too. Especially moving closer to those bloodsuckers," Lily whispers to herself. "What?" I laugh off her comment, glancing at Brendon's frozen figure holding a box. "Nothing," Lily smiles quickly and walks away. "You heard what she said, right?" I say as Brendon quickly walks over to me. "Yeah," Brendon replies softly. "Now I know I need to be extra careful around her. Her mother was attacked and killed by a vampire. It was none of the Dandies, and no one else knows who killed her. But one thing for sure, she knows vampires exist, which is the reason why I don't want her knowing I am one. She has a grudge against them, but it's one of the reasons I tell her to stay indoors." "That's true," I whisper. "Well we're almost done so you can make sure she's fine." We finish packing all the boxes into Brendon's huge beast of a Jeep, and drove silently towards my new cottage. While Lily and Brendon chattered amongst themselves, I couldn't help but think about William. This weird connection we have makes me feel warmer and closer to him. It's not just the physical contact that I enjoy so much, but the mental attachment we have to each other. I know he's in my mind as I am in his, and I know he is looking into my past as I am looking in his past too. I can feel him watching my mediocre life like a Lifetime movie. I smile as he winces looking into my sister's hot-pink room, and frown when he laughs at me trying to dance the waltz with my twin brother. I can see him in his teens sloshing around in mud trying to move wood to the mill, then in his first years as a Dandy hunting down the strongest and most intelligent human males out there. If you did not turn into a vampire, do you think you would have found your significant other during your regular life? I think that if you were born during my time, I know for a fact I would have married you on the spot. But I guess I had to be changed into a vampire to finally meet you. As for anyone else, I might have met some sweet female but I don't believe the love would be the same. More mutual, but not platonic and spiritual. Why was I chosen to become your significant other? I mean, I'm not all that attractive and I'm very shy. I keep to myself and yet, I trust only my brother. To me, you are beyond beautifulIt's something that Spencer and I have been researching for some time now. We believe that when a vampire finds their human counterpart, that human is specifically designed for that vampire. They share the same or similar values, they fall in love with each other more rapidly than a regular human couple because of their mental connection, and they protect each other's innermost darkest secrets. Not to mention, become stronger and have a special ability. There is so much to learn about vampire life... how am I going to take this all in? I didn't take it all in at once. It takes time and patience, plus a suave looking guy like me to help out. Oh joy... Now I'm looking foward to it. "Amber?" Lily looks at me waving her hands in front of my face. "What are you giggling about?" I glance at Brendon as he smirks and rolls his eyes, staring at the road ahead. He's the only one that understands what I was really giggling about. "Nothing," I say. "Just remembering something that Demetri said to me." "How did you guys meet anyway?" Lily asks curiously. "We met at an antique store. The 20s shop at the corner." "Oh yeah. He always walks in there with the other boys in the school. Uniforms are 20s vintage. I believe Brendon would look just spiffy in those clothes." "You think?" Brendon asks with a tight smile. "Yeah, but I wouldn't like you hanging out with those guys. They seem a little rowdy to me, and somewhat..." "What?" Brendon and I ask at the same time. "Beautiful... and deadly." I glance over at Brendon's grip on the steering wheel tightening to the brink. Does Lily know the truth about the Dandies? Does she know the real Brendon? Does she know that the boy school is one of the largest vampire covens in Chicago? "Well maybe they wear makeup and work out. Maybe they even have deadly look workshops for people to fear them," I suggest quietly glancing at Lily. "Hahaha! I think so," Lily laughs lightly. Arriving at the cottage gave me a cold feeling. If Lily knows about the Dandies, would she try to kill my Demetri/William? I must be careful around her at all times now.

October 22, 2008His Amber Eyes... Ch.8
What right does he have saying I can't see my own twin brother? I understand I could crave for my brother but I know I can control it. I'm not even full vampire yet. Plus his own drummer friend is a vampire hybrid and he hasn't even bit him so why not? Why are boys so difficult? I need a girl talk. None of my family but with who? I could call Cat... she loves this Johnson guy anyways... Cat and I met through "Marshal" because we were both social outcasts in school. While I enjoyed the suave sounds of jazz, she jammed to powerpop rock and soft rock. We were two peas in a deformed pod. I glance at William angrily as he sighs in defeat and walks out my room. That's all you're going to get tonight. I laugh to myself and dial Cat's number We'll talk about it later. That much I promise you. I won't have my own future wife mad at me because of a simple rule that has lasted over 200 or 300 years. I know how to hold a grudge, William. That much I promise you. "Word on the street is you're engaged to that hunk Demetri?" Cat answers on the first ring. "Between you and Goofball," I sigh. "Can I get a nice 'hello' or 'how are you' or something nice and calming?" "Goofball must be Alex Marshal, your brother. Don't worry! When I helped him choose the name, I made sure that it was a a cool name and not something artificial." "And you got what in return?" "Oh nothing... just meeting the band, especially Alex Johnson. But anyways, stop changing the subject! Demetri? Seriously? That guy only comes out at night and girls do anything for his attention. Yet here you are, getting a quick glance at him and suddenly he's goo goo eyes for you! Do you know how many girls came up to me crying, trying to figure out why he chose you and not them?" "I'm trying to figure out that too," I sigh. "Okay? You sighed so this must be important. What's wrong?" "So there is this guy-" "Named Demetri... girl, you don't have to do that "guy this and guy that" story. They confuse me." "Fine. So Demetri thinks that I shouldn't tell my own brother this huge secret. I know Marshal can keep this huge secret to himself but Demetri thinks that if he knows this secret, he might be in grave danger." "Well damn! That's pretty deep," Cat sighs on the other end. "Would you tell your brother two days from now?" "Why two days from now?" "That's when he's coming back into town with the rest of the guys. Didn't he tell you?" "NO! UGH!" "All I can say is... if this secret is that harmful to his physical features or even mental features, then it's best not to tell him. But if something happens to you because of this secret, then he'll never understand and maybe get angry about it." I hear footsteps coming up my stairs and I bite my lower lip worried. This is a decision I need to choose on my own. But which choice is the right choice? "Thanks Cat. I have to call you later because I'm moving into that cottage and have some help coming up now." "Alright but we will catch up! Byez!" Cat says excitedly. Brendon comes up the stairs with a girl about my age but taller then me. She smiles timidly and looks around my room, noting the amount of boxes stacked up on each other. With my new enhanced senses, I see she has electric violet eyes that twinkle when she glances at Brendon. I give him an approving smile and he blushes apple red. "Lily, this is my new friend Amber. She's dating Demetri," Brendon says with a smile. "Oh!" She smiles and reaches out with her hand, which I take and shake quickly. "So you are the Amber that every single girl is jealous of?" "Unfortunately yes," I smile back. "I'm trying to figure out how everyone found out so quickly." "I guess you can thank this guy beside me because when he whispers, it's like a soft shout for people to hear." I turn my gaze to Brendon with my so-it-was-you looks. He shrugs and chuckles. Of course it had to be him! All the other Dandies can't walk out into the sun like Brendon can, and he is pretty loud... "What can I say," Brendon says with a smile. "I was just trying to tell Lily. Then this one girl overheard us then mass-texted it to her friends, then they mass-texted to their friends... next thing you know, girls are either crying or sulking on the sidewalks. My bad." "Oh Brendon," I sigh at him. "Well let's start because I have tons of boxes, and I want to be moved in before midnight." "Don't worry," Lily says as she picks up the first box closest to her. "Before midnight is perfect for me. I like to stay indoors, and Brendon makes sure I'm always in by then. It gets annoying though." "I like to make sure your safe because there are crazy people out there at night," Brendon says with great concern in his voice. "I don't want to see you get hurt or else I'd have to kill someone." "I know! I know!" Lily says smiling as she goes downstairs with the box. "You love her, don't you?" I ask him softly. "With all my heart and soul," Brendon says as he watches her go down the stairs. "Vampires at night are horrible. They show no mercy to any human unless they are their soulmate. If you're a regular girl or guy walking the street, and a gang of hungry vamps come at you, it's best to say your last prayer." Okay... now that is scary.

His Amber Eyes... Ch.7
"Wow..." I whisper to myself. "So you were changed against your will?" "I wouldn't put it that way," William says while scratching his hair. "Trisha did it to save my live, but then at the same time she never asked my permission to bite me." "So what about everything else?" I ask him. "How did you become so rich? What about your social security number and just living like that?" "Technically I'm not alive," William chuckles to himself. "I make my own forms because I have the machinery for it. Being rich is all about calculation and the market, not to mention getting whatever you want. Wall Street is my life and I just have that sixth sense about money. I only use money for necessities such as the mortgage for the mansion and clothes for the guys." "But what about the Great Depression?" I ask him. "I knew how to save my money wisely, and what did I need to buy? My food comes out at night with a perfect temperature of 98.6 degrees. Plus I had money overseas, too." "Oh..." I nod my head and look away. I'm just hoping he does not ask about my family because I'm embarassed by them. Well not all of them. My twin brother is amazing and he's the only one that understands me and everything I go through. "So your twin brother is on tour right?" "Yeah he is. I haven't talked to him in a while." "I am a fan of his music, plus I know his drummer friend. May I ask you why he changed his name to Alex Marshal?" "Huh?" I immediately get confused. "He changed his name?" "I think he might call you soon," William laughs and surely enough my cell phone goes off. "Brown, you changed your name to Alex Marshal?" I screech into my phone. "Hello to you too Amber," Brown sighs. "Yeah I changed my name to Alex Marshal. I guess Brown is too normal to me, so I got it changed to something a little more bright. Plus you should understand how embarassed I am of our family, mostly Mom and Dad. With my career, I can't be known I'm from those two. You are the only one I know I can trust. So I was thinking maybe you should change YOUR name." "Change my name? But I like my name Amber." "WAIT!" William shouts. "Uh, who was that?" Alex asks uncertainly. "You have a boyfriend? My twin sister has a BF?! OOOOOO!" "Hold on 'Alex'," I exaggerate while covering the speaker and facing William. "What is it, William?" "You can change your name. I mean we are technically engaged and you already got the first bite," William stands up and walks over to Amber smiling. "Amber Beckett sounds pretty good to me." I think I actually swooned at the sound of that coming from his voice. Amber Beckett. Not. Too. Shabby. "Hey Brown? Alex? Whatever... I wouldn't say BF at this moment..." "Okay," Alex says quizzically. "A guy of interest?" "More..." I laugh nervously. "What the..." Alex whispers. "Engaged?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Who is this guy and how did he sweep you off your feet like that? How did you meet? What does he look like? Have I met him?" "I don't know. His name is..." I glance at William real quick. "Demetri." "Wait a minute. The guy who owns that boy school? Isn't he 45 or something?" Alex asks worried. "That's beyond gross Amber. More like... ew." "He's 23 goofball. You know, that's your name now. Goofball, not Brown or Alex. Plus he knows the drummer to your band." "Oh! That Demetri! You are pretty lucky to get that guy! Wait... huh? Yeah... okay man... hey Amber I got to go. Singer's trying to eat 5 burgers at once and I can't miss it! We shall talk later! Bye Sis!" Brown -now Alex Marshal- hangs up the phone on me. Boys these days. "It's going to be hard," William puts his arms around my shoulders. "Having to forget your family, especially your brother." "What do you mean by that?" I turn around to look at him slowly. William's expression softens and cups my face into his cool soft hands. "Amber," William whispers. "The moment you become full vampire, you can never see Brown or any of your family again. I can see Alex Johnson, the drummer of their band, because he's like Brendon also. The only way you could see them is if you... change them. They're human." That just hit me like a bomb. "What?" I jump back, glaring at William. "He's my twin brother! Who cares about the rest of my family! But my other half?! I can't do that to him! What if this Johnson guy told him what he really is? Then he'd understand! He could keep a secret." "He might be able to keep a secret, but how could we protect him? He'll just be fresh meat to any vampire out there. If he smells as equally appealing as you do right now, then he wouldn't have a chance walking into the night. The vampire girls that come out at night are getting more and more seductive by the minute." "Then I'll shred them to pieces!" I shout at him. "Listen..." William looks at his Armstrong watch. "Can we talk about this later? I have to get back to the mansion. Brendon and Lily are here and we need to move your stuff." "Oh we will talk about this..." I say clenched between my teeth.

October 21, 2008That's Super Glue... Not Hand Lotion!Chad Wolf of Carolina Liar is repairing a broken frame to his favorite picture of Hannah Montana with super glue on The Academy Is... bus. The Butcher comes over to Chad, compliments his picture, then asks him if he could help him with his drum set for a minute. Chad places his super glue down besides a small bottle of hand lotion, not noticing the super glue knock over the hand lotion to the ground. Cassadee [with her amazing self] realizes her hands are dry. Sisky boards the bus and talks about getting ready to perform soon and points out the "hand lotion". So she doesn't notice what she's picking up and puts in on quickly and gets off the bus without touching anything. Travis and William come laughing and greet Cassadee. William asks Cassadee if she wants to take a freeze jumping picture. She agrees, gets in the middle, and grabs both William's and Travis's hands. Sisky gets a camera and they do the picture. Then they try to let go. Cassadee starts to freak out, trying to figure out why they are stuck together. They go back on the bus and, with Sisky's detective skills, find the actual hand lotion and the super glue. They find the other band members and tell them of their dilemma. Chad apologizes and they go in search for the serum. Travis glances at the clock and realizes that they have only a couple of minutes until showtime. Travis: What are we going to do?! I really don't want to cancel the show because of this! William: Yeah, I don't want to dissappoint the fans... but we're glued together! Cassadee: We are not cancelling! Plus this is when I need to do my makeup! I always do it within three minutes of a show. Travis: Well we could help you with that... *smiles at William* Cassadee: You two know how to apply makeup? *looks at them skeptical* William: Sure! How hard can it be? *waves off her skepticism, and winks at Travis* She presents to them her makeup collection and closes her eyes. They look at each other, then the collection and get to work. In the end... she's looks goofy and she freaks. Then Travis's stomach grumbles. He realizes his "artistic ways" makes him hungry and decides to eat "The Kraken", a large assortment of food on a table. He grabs a bottle of water and needs Cassadee and William's help with picking up food and putting it in his mouth. Travis: All you need to do is gently place the food in my mouth but in a fast paced motion. I usually eat within 1 minute. Cassadee: But of course! *smiles too sweetly at Travis* William: That's not difficult at all...*waves it off and smiles at Cassadee* They start slamming food into Travis's face and he can't say anything because his mouth is too full. After they finish, he has food everywhere on him- lettuce, tomato, mustard, etc. Then William looks down at his messy pants and says he needs to change them. Travis and Cassadee smile at each other. Travis: We'll help you find some clothes dude. Cassadee: Of course! You're bound to have plenty of clean pants! You're William Becktt for crying out loud! *she smirks and winks at Travis* They all look to find he has no more clean pants, just a pair of shorts and brightly colored leggings. In the end, William looks funny wearing them. The other band members come back with the serum and stare at the three in their messed up ways. Jersey: What happened? It's like a cyclone came and rearranged everything about you guys. Drew: We were only gone for 6 minutes! But we got the serum. So they apply the serum to their hands and they are free. They run off to fix themselves and come back clean, proper and ready to perform. Cassadee: You guys did my makeup on purpose, didn't you? William: Well it was fun, until you chose those leggings and shorts for me. Travis: I enjoyed it too, until you two stuffed my faces! They all look at each other, laugh, and hug then walk away with the others. Then Sisky reappears holding the super glue and laughing. Sisky: silly superglue! *laughs and throws the superglue away, then hits the trash can, only to find out his hand is stuck to it* Sisky: Hey guys? Guys? GUYS!!!!!!!!! The end.
